As a first-time pet owner, I was both excited and overwhelmed when I brought my new puppy home. Anxiety kicks in when my puppy starts having protest pee and poo. I knew we needed a dog trainer, and I happened to chance upon K9 Kampong on Google. Both Su Lin and Kimberly are our saviours. Su Lin came over to our place, gave us some advice and tips on handling our pup. While we were away on holiday, we placed it under the care of Kimberly, who did a full training and provided lodging. After receiving back our dog, her behaviour changed 180. She's now well behaved and listens to command. Kimberly also took time to do the handover and gave us a schedule plan to follow. We're so thankful to have found K9 Kampong! Thank you Su Lin and Kimberly!!!

Thank you K9 Kampong Dog Training. Thank you Su Lin for her guidance! Su Lin is definitely one of the best dog trainers in Singapore. She has taught me how to properly train and manage my new puppy Toffee. I see improvements with my dog behaviour. He seems like to walk outdoor before we started with K9 Kampong training.(maybe is the leash handling etc) After lesson with Su Lin, Toffee has progressed so much on his walking and he likes to walk outdoor now , so happy to walk with Toffee again. Highly recommend Su Lin!

They say by 30, you’ll have a dog, anxiety and a dog with anxiety. But what they didn’t tell you is that you’ll also have Kim to guide you through it all. I engaged Kim when Riot was adopted a year ago. Riot was (and still is) having issues with the environment which we live in but we’ve definitely come a long way, literally. Riot used to not want to leave our front door, but now, she voluntarily walks out. I’ve also boarded Riot with Kim and I’ve seen a drastic improvement in Riot’s walking and her ability to listen to commands. Kim also takes the time to adjust the focus of the dog’s stay to the dog’s need and for that I’m grateful. What is most important, though, is that Kim takes the time to explain the psychology and reasoning behind every action she asks you to take. I’ve learnt so much about dog behaviour and because of that, I have been able to watch out for red flags at the dog run, deescalate dog on dog situations and read Riot’s comfort levels (be it not trigger stacking, giving Riot space etc). I think training both yourself and your dog is important, but what’s important is choosing a trainer who is truly fear free accredited. I cannot recommend Kim more!!

We were very happy to have Kimberly train our gsd Brix. We like how she was practical and uses positive reinforcement to improve his behaviour and creating bonding with us. She was also more than happy to provide some tips for our other dog Hunter and she was always very patient and would explain why we do things in a logical way. We would highly recommend Kimberly and K9 Kampong Dog Training!

Su Lin is an absolute game-changer! Within five minutes of walking through our door, she had our wild 7-month-old pup actually listening—and us realising how much we’d been unintentionally encouraging the chaos. Bear’s mouthing and over excitement was because her humans were over stimulating her - whaddya know? Puppies are just like toddlers! She didn’t just train our dog, she trained us, showing exactly what to do (and what not to do) to create a calm, happy home. She took us through all the essentials—how to manage greetings, feeding, walking, and everyday interactions—while demonstrating in real time what works and what doesn’t. I am writing this review barely 24 hours after following her advice, and already we see a different side of Bear who is now calmer, sweeter, and no longer incessantly mouthing or barking at us :p Su Lin’s training is clear, practical, and honestly, kind of magic. Would highly recommend anyone looking for someone to assess a head scratching situation at home with their pet!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We can’t thank Su enough for the incredible transformation in our puppy! When we first got her, she was a total nightmare—barking nonstop, pee poo wrongly all the time , and completely ignoring commands. After training with Su at K9 Kampung, she’s now an absolute angel! Su’s patience, expertise, and personalized approach made all the difference. She doesn’t just train dogs; she teaches owners how to communicate effectively with their pups. We are so grateful for having Kimberly as our trainer with our dear Toto. She has equipped us with the basic tools that have been very helpful for us as we raise our sweet girl. I adopted a skittish Singapore Special that was afraid of almost everything - people, children, lamp posts, cars, loud noises and the list goes on. He needed quite a bit of confidence building. I also wanted to understand him more and decided to engage Kim from K9 Kampong. During the first session, I was so impressed by how she conducted the training - she made the effort to get to know him better by observing his body language. She’s like a dog to human translator and helped me decipher his behaviours (both positive and negative) then taught me how to reward the good and positively correct the not so good. I had a total of 6 sessions with her and it’s very safe to say that my pup is now a completely different dog from when we first started. He is confident and so curious to explore the outdoors. I highly encourage Kim and is forever grateful to her! ?

Was referred to K9 Kampong and Su Lin by a friend and sent Enzo for 3 sessions of private puppy training. As a ex teacher herself, Su Lin pursued her passion in this and was really knowledgeable, caring yet firm towards our furballs. Her belief in positive reinforcement is what made me engaged her. She imparted key crucial cues and trainings to me, necessary for a puppy at their age (that I probably might not know much even if i searched youtube videos, and start teaching non important tricks like paw, hi 5 all these). Su Lin always remain available if i have questions and even gave me advice when my puppy was unwell at one point. Really above and beyond and would recommend her if you want to start your puppy right! (Disclaimer: however you still need to be diligent with your time and homework for your puppy to be successful)
